Located just 25 miles north of Key West and 25 miles south of Marathon, a short boat ride, is where you will find this 6 acre paradise. Swim in the heated pool or lounge on the sun deck, nature walk the abundant landscape. With several natural Osprey nests, birding watching is a must. To keep in touch with the rest of the world, there is Hi-Def Satellite television with TiVo and Internet access. You will have complete privacy on Melody Key. However, should you require assistance, our discrete caretaker, Mike, lives on a neighboring Island, just a five minute boat ride. Mike is available to transport you to and from the mainland when you like. He is also available for several excursions, including fishing, snorkeling, boating, etc. At an extra fee. He's just a Phone call away.
The Melody Key home is the largest and newest on any offshore island in the Florida Keys.
The house boasts four bedrooms and three full bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms have beautiful Teak furnishings adjoining balconies. The master bedroom features a King size bed and a luxurious bathroom with whirlpool/Jacuzzi/shower combination. Leading out of the glass French doors is a large private balcony that overlooks the front yard.
The top floor sports a spacious great room with wet bar. The bar tops a magnificent 300 gallon salt water aquarium stocked with native tropical fish and invertebrates. Enjoy a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean and surrounding islands while dining on your catch of the day. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped. Just off The kitchen is a work station that is WiFi ready. The entire home is central air equipped
On the island itself: BBQ area, pool and Jacuzzi, beautiful Landscaping and the oceans edge. Stepping into the water around the Island, you'll find a firm sand bottom ranging in depth from about two feet near shore to a comfortable depth for swimming and snorkeling past the dock's end. You will find abundant fish, providing endless opportunities for both the sportsman and nature lovers. Melody Key is perfect for your next vacation paradise experience, one you won't want to miss.
